Hi there, I'm trying to share something to you guys here.. Especially for those who are still using patch 1.23 and below, please update your Warcraft III or else you will outdated and can't even play the newest version of DotA(6.62 and above).
Here's a guide on how to use the Warcraft Version Switcher to switch between versions of 1.20e to 1.24b
Firstly, download the parts of Warcraft Version Switcher from the following links
Note that you can't extract it without certain tools.. Try this: HJSplit 2.4.rar Guide on HJSplit 2.4: 1. Open the "HJSplit 2.4.exe" and click the "Join" button. 2. Click the "Input File" button and browse for the "Warcraft Version Switcher [Updated 01-09-09].rar.001" 3. Click the "Output" button and choose the location you want your Warcraft Version Switcher located. 4. Click the "Start" button and wait the files being processed. |
After you successfully download the Warcraft Version Switcher 1.61.rar, follow the following instructions..
1. Extract the files you downloaded using WinRAR 2. Run the Warcraft Version Switcher.exe (Known as WVS.exe) 3. Click the "Switch Version" button and choose the versions you like. 4. Lastly, click "Yes" at the "Confirm" window. 5. Close your Warcraft Version Switcher 1.61 and enjoy your newer version |
